The Rotary Club of Hamilton Place was chartered June 12, 1990. Responsible for this club's beginnings were Dyer Butterfield and the late William Raoul from the downtown Chattanooga Club. The first charter president of the new club was Brice Holland. Remaining charter members include:  Rick Carlson, Harry Fields, Brice Holland, Jim Marquis, Ellsworth McKee, Tom Patrick, John Rogers, Jim Stephens, Ed Wright, and Marsha Yessick.
